The Government has been instructed to organise a centralised federal system of state purchases of medicines to treat tuberculosis, HIV, and viral hepatitis, and select a single supplier for blood plasma products purchased with federal budget money.
The Healthcare Ministry, Ministry of Industry and Trade, and State Corporation for Assistance to Development, Production and Export of Advanced Technology Industrial Product Rostec have been jointly instructed to organise independent technical audits for Russian manufacturers localising the full production cycle for producing medicines to treat HIV and viral hepatitis.
