Dmitry Medvedev signed an Executive Order releasing Dmitry Rogozin from his duties as special presidential representative for missile defence cooperation with NATO.
Mr Rogozin will continue to head the Presidential Executive Office’s interagency working group on missile defence cooperation with NATO.
Talks with Russia’s partners in this area will continue within the current formats – through the Russian Foreign and Defence Ministries.
The Executive Order was signed in connection with Mr Rogozin’s increased workload since becoming deputy prime minister and carrying out a number of important missions on behalf of the president, in particular, acting as special presidential representative for Trans-Dniester.
