The Agreement was signed in Moscow on December 10, 2010.
Its main provision is an instruction to the CSTO’s Interstate Commission for Military and Economic Cooperation on drafting lists of enterprises and organisations whose specialisation should be maintained in the interests of military and economic cooperation between CSTO member states.
Having these lists will allow the appropriate authorities to establish procedures and deadlines for ceasing production of military goods at such enterprises, and make decisions on their participation in joint developments and production of new weaponry and military equipment.
