The Federal Law was drafted to improve legal regulation of the issues pertaining to the construction of Olympic facilities, the transfer of property titles thereto, and the maintenance and operation of these facilities.
In particular, the law establishes simplified procedures for transferring Olympic facilities built using the resources of the State Corporation for Constructing Olympic Facilities and Developing the City of Sochi as an Alpine Resort to ownership by public law entities on the basis of resolutions by the Government of the Russian Federation.
