The Agreement, prepared with due account of modern legal practices, Russian legislation and international standards in this area, was signed in Buenos Aires on July 12, 2014 with the aim of developing an international legal foundation for Russian-Argentinian cooperation in providing mutual legal assistance in criminal cases.
According to the Agreement, the parties take on the obligation to provide assistance to one another during investigations, legal proceedings and other procedural actions, in observance with the conditions indicated therein.
