Law exempting operations involving import of cultural property from VAT 2012-12-04 14:30:00 Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law on Amendments to Article 150 of Part Two of the Russian Federation Tax Code. The law exempts from VAT operations involving the import to Russia of cultural property purchased abroad by state or municipal organisations in order to replenish their stocks not only through budget money but also through extra-budgetary sources.
