From the Russian side, the narrow-format meeting was attended by Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov Ushakov Yury Ushakov YuryAide to the President and Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk Overchuk Alexei Overchuk AlexeiDeputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation . Later, the meeting continued in an expanded format.

Following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, documents were approved on a number of specific areas of the EAEU bodies’ activity and organisational issues. On the sidelines of the summit, the Agreement on Economic Partnership was signed between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and the United Arab Emirates, on the other, as well as the Temporary Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and Mongolia, on the other.
