Working visit to Finland
During the visit, Vladimir Putin met with President of Finland Sauli Niinistö. Several cooperation agreements were signed in the presidents’ presence. The President of Russia also participated in celebrating the 60th anniversary since the establishment of St Petersburg’s sister city relationship with Turku. Moreover, a plate with Vladimir Putin’s name on it was laid in one of Turku’s central squares in appreciation of the President of Russia’s environmental protection efforts in the Baltic Sea.
