Law ratifying Russia-South Ossetia agreement on the goods trade regime 2013-12-23 10:00:00 Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia on the Goods Trade Regime. The Agreement was signed in Moscow on March 2, 2012. The Agreement establishes a duty-free regime for trade in goods between the two countries. A number of goods are exempt from the regime, including sugar, alcohol and tobacco products. Under the Agreement, export duties can be set for a number of goods in cases that come under the provisions of Russian law.
