The message reads, in part:
“It is important that in recent years, many playwrights, directors and screenwriters have increasingly focused on the heroism of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War. Powerful stage productions that depict the courage of our forefathers carry deep moral and artistic significance. They play an important role in fostering patriotism among younger generations and preserving the memory of the heroic chapters of our shared history. That is why I view your festival a vibrant and meaningful initiative, one of the most notable and truly celebratory events marking the upcoming 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
I am confident that today’s ceremony will be held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, becoming a memorable event for all participants. It will foster the exchange of experience and help strengthen both creative and personal ties. I extend my congratulations to the winners on their success and wish them continued achievements and all the very best.”
