“You went through the trials of the Great Patriotic War with honour, and after the Victory dedicated yourself to fruitful teaching and mentor work. In your alma mater, the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School, you helped shape several generations of cadets – future experienced officers, who went on to serve with distinction both at the military and government roles. You shared with them not only the subtleties of military science, but also your life and combat experience.
