Roskosmos vested with authority to select and train cosmonaut candidates and to conduct post-flight activities 2023-06-13 17:40:00 The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 20 of the Russian Federation Law On Space Activity and the Federal Law On the Roscosmos State Corporation For Space Activity. The Federal Law is aimed at regulating relations related to funding the selection and training of cosmonaut candidates, cosmonauts for space flight, and the organisation and implementation of post-flight activities. The Federal Law also clarifies the powers and functions of the Roscosmos State Corporation for selecting and training cosmonaut candidates and cosmonauts for space flights, for forming crews for manned space missions, as well as for approving flight programmes.
