The message reads, in part:
“Over the past years, the Youth Chamber has brought together ambitious and proactive young professionals from around the country under the aegis of the Federation Council and confidently demonstrated its potential to effectively achieve goals it has been set. The Chamber particularly focuses on citizens’ proposals concerning rights, freedoms and legal interests. Substantial and meaningful amendments to a range of bills have been initiated and supported by senators, including such significant bills as the Law On Youth Policy and the Law On Government Social Assistance, which allowed targeted and much-needed support to be provided to youth and children’s public associations as well as children in difficult life circumstances.
A high-priority area of the Chamber’s work is training a pool of staff for federal and regional legislative and executive bodies and municipal institutions. I also want to note the young legislators’ strong contribution to maintaining and promoting the best traditions of the Russian parliamentarism, its scholarly ideas and practices.”
