Along with current socioeconomic matters on the domestic agenda, the participants also had a detailed discussion of the situation in Aleppo following the US withdrawal from the ceasefire agreement in Syria. The participants expressed growing concern over terrorist organisations’ continued attempts to block the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians. The situation on global energy markets was also discussed in the context of the President’s upcoming international contacts in Istanbul next week and the address he will give at the World Energy Congress.
