Law ratifying Russia-China agreement on cooperation in natural gas supplies from Russia to China via Far East Route 2023-06-13 15:40:00 The President signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on Cooperation in Natural Gas Supplies from the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China via the Far East Route. The Agreement was signed in Moscow and Beijing on January 31, 2023. The Agreement is aimed at enhancing the parties’ cooperation in energy and defines the main cooperation parameters for the parties regarding the export of natural gas from the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China via the Far East Route, including a transborder pipeline section across the Ussuri (Wusuli Jiang) River near the city of Dalnerechensk (Russian Federation) and Hulin (People’s Republic of China).
