During the telephone conversation, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated Vladimir Putin on Russia’s successful holding of elections to the State Duma. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continuing the active and constructive cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments.
Ilham Aliyev offered his deepest condolences on the fatal tragedy at Perm State University.
The sides agreed to continue personal contacts.
