The President spoke by telephone with Governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory Viktor Tolokonsky and Head of the Republic of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. Mr Tolokonsky and Mr Kadyrov reported on the measures the two regions are taking to help the families of those killed and injured in the accidents.
Mr Putin instructed Healthcare Minister Veronika Skvortsova to ensure everything necessary at regional level and at federal level if need be, to provide the injured with the needed medical assistance. Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev has been instructed to investigate the causes of the accidents and take measures to improve road safety.
