The two leaders exchanged views on the publication of the Final Report of the Interstate Aviation Committee's Air Accident Investigation Commission on the causes for the plane crash in Smolensk on April 10, 2010, and discussed further joint action to investigate the circumstances of the accident. They confirmed plans to hold joint events commemorating the anniversary of this tragic event.
During their conversation, the presidents expressed their mutual desire to engage in constructive dialogue guided by the principles agreed on during the President of Russia's visit to Poland on December 6, 2010.
