The submarine will undergo sea trials and is expected to enter into service in 2011. After that, it is planned that six more submarines of the same type will be built. Following the float-out ceremony, the Russian leader was briefed on the retrofit of the aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov, which is being modified for Indian Navy, and given the main facts regarding the upgrading and trials of Project 11430.
