Trip to Crimea and Sevastopol
In Sevastopol Vladimir Putin took part in launching the Balaklavskaya Thermal Power Plant and, via video link, the Tavricheskaya Thermal Power Plant and the Port substation in Taman. The President visited the Malakhov Kurgan memorial complex where he saw the museum exhibit and laid flowers at the monument to Vice-Admiral Vladimir Kornilov.
In Simferopol Vladimir Putin met with a delegation from the French Republic and representatives of the Crimean public.
Towards the end of his trip, the President attended the concert Crimean Spring: Five Years at Home Harbour.
