significance of holding the event in Pskov – one of Russia’s oldest cities,
renowned for its military heritage and spiritual traditions, where the historical unity of the country’s peoples is especially evident.

In his remarks, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive
Office emphasised that the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia coincides
with the initiation of the implementation of the new Strategy for the State
National Policy of the Russian Federation through 2036. “The central theme of the Year’s events is unity: unity around the national leader, unity between the front and the rear, unity in preserving Russia’s traditional spiritual and moral
values, and, of course, the unity of the peoples of Russia,” Magomedsalam
Magomedov noted.

Participants examined in detail the state of interethnic relations in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District, the results of public
sentiment monitoring, mechanisms for conflict prevention, measures to counter
external information influence, issues affecting the indigenous peoples of the region, and efforts to facilitate the adaptation of foreign nationals.

Particular attention was devoted to achieving the objectives set out in the Strategy, improving the system for monitoring interethnic relations,
strengthening preventative work at the municipal level, supporting the Russian
people, the Russian language, and Russian culture as the unifying foundation of the multi-ethnic Russian nation, and systematically reinforcing a shared civic
identity.

The seminar concluded with the adoption of a number of relevant decisions.

As part of the working visit, Magomedsalam
Magomedov and Igor Rudenya took part in the opening ceremony of a memorial
complex dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland who participated in the special military operation. They also held a working meeting with Governor of the Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov to discuss the region’s socioeconomic

telephoned the US President today to extend birthday greetings on his 80th
birthday. The conversation was friendly and candid, lasting just under an hour – 55 minutes to be precise.

As you might expect, it was not merely an exchange of pleasantries. President Trump heard more than kind words and good
wishes: the leaders also discussed key issues relating to the current
international situation, the development of Russia-US relations, and possible
future contacts between representatives of both sides.

As for the greetings, they were informal and reflected the nature of the personal relationship between the two leaders. The Russian President made no secret of his respect for Donald Trump’s fighting
spirit, his ability to withstand blows, successfully overcome obstacles, and persistently pursue his goals.

Incidentally, the Russian President also sent a birthday message in which he highlighted the exceptional character traits of the man he was honouring – traits that contribute to his success both as a person and as a politician. Donald Trump was touched by the remarks and thanked
Vladimir Putin, noting that he was the first foreign leader to call him at the White House.

I would like to emphasise again that the conversation was informal and, I might add, not without a touch of humour. I will even let you in on a secret: Donald Trump is not entirely thrilled by the number 80, as he is full of energy and vigour.

I should also mention that Vladimir Putin
naturally extended his best wishes to First Lady Melania Trump, praising her
role in reuniting Russian and Ukrainian children with their families. Donald
Trump, in turn, conveyed his wife’s greetings and gratitude for the assistance
she had received from Russia.

To conclude the ceremonial congratulatory part
of my remarks, I will note that Vladimir Putin thanked Donald Trump for his
warm congratulatory message on Russia Day, which expressed respect for the Russian people.

Naturally, the conversation also touched on the situation surrounding the memorandum of understanding being drafted between the United States and Iran. Donald Trump said an agreement was close and expressed
hope that the results of the difficult but ultimately successful negotiations
could be announced today. He acknowledged that the road to agreement had been
arduous, with many obstacles encountered – and not only from the Iranian
leadership. Ultimately, however, the efforts of American negotiators, with the assistance of Pakistani and Qatari mediators, produced an acceptable outcome.
Mr Trump expressed gratitude for Russia’s involvement and, in particular, for its proposals aimed at finding constructive solutions.

On our part, we
expressed satisfaction with the United States’ apparent ability to curb the conflict that may have set the entire region ablaze and even expand beyond the region. President Putin noted his readiness to keep working in favour of stabilising the situation and handling deeply rooted issues that are still to be seriously addressed.

As regards the conflict in Ukraine, Donald Trump once again stressed the importance of ceasing
hostilities. He claimed that he is ready to influence both his European
partners and Kiev, including during the upcoming contacts at the G7 summit. The recent strikes targeting civilian facilities on Russian territory certainly
complicate the resolution process, which was noted. President Trump also said
that sooner completion of the war could open up prospects for giving Russia-US
relations a new quality.

On his part,
Vladimir Putin communicated the message that no attempts by the Kiev regime to strike Russia’s civilian infrastructure can overturn the situation on the battlefield,
which is critical for Ukraine. There is no doubt that in Évian-les-Bains, the Europeans
and Zelensky will try to paint the exact opposite picture and will only be able
to propose ideas that drag out the conflict and prolong the hostilities.
Zelensky himself should be told that, instead of reburying Nazi criminals with
honours, he’d better remember the tragedy of the Holocaust. Should the chief of the Kiev regime mention a potential meeting with the Russian leader again, as we said in the past, he is
free to come to Moscow if he wants a meeting.

It is indicative
that, responding to these words, Donald Trump spoke about the alliance between
our two countries during World War II. He said that this alliance simply must
not be forgotten.

Colleagues, I think
I have outlined the key points from the telephone conversation. I should also mention
that, recalling the success of FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, Vladimir Putin
wished success to the American organisers of this year’s championship.

And one last thing.
It was agreed that the US President’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared
Kushner, who are currently deeply involved in Iranian affairs, will come to Russia again in the near future.

Question: Were any gifts
sent?

Yury Ushakov: No gifts were sent but, as I have already said, the greetings were quite warm and reflective of the relations between the two
presidents.

Winners of the 2025 National Awards of the Russian Federation announced

The winners of the 2025

authorities in implementing the State National Policy Strategy. Seminar meetings are held in every federal

that the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia announced by the President has
strategic significance for the country’s progress, and for the strengthening of the Russian nation.

“It is important that the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia aligns with the launch of the new State National Policy
Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2036. In this context, we must emphasise
everything meaningful that unites us: the unity of the front and the home front
during the special military operation; the unity in preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values like patriotism,
service to the Fatherland, and family values; and, of course, the unity of the peoples of Russia.” It is important to focus primarily on the peoples who have historically
resided on Russian territory, and on the unifying role of the Russian people
and Russian culture in the life of our country, Magomedsalam Magomedov noted.

The meeting participants discussed topical
matters concerning inter-ethnic relations and the situation in each region of the federal district. As Mr Magomedov pointed out, the situation in the Siberian Federal District remains stable and manageable, with some performance
indicators above the national average.

The participants also discussed tasks
pertaining to the State National Policy Strategy of the Russian Federation and gave corresponding recommendations.

A number of decisions were adopted following

three years, the State Foundation Defenders of the Fatherland has developed an effective and comprehensive system of social support for veterans of the special military operation and members of their families. According to Chairman
of the Foundation’s Supervisory Board, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko, veterans of the special
military operation and their families have noted the effectiveness of the Foundation’s
work.

In the last
three years, the Foundation’s activities have expanded, new support measures
have been introduced, and the assistance system has become more comprehensive
and targeted. Citing sociological data, Mr Kiriyenko noted that trust in the Foundation
now exceeds 90 percent.

Targeted
support for veterans begins with help in accessing medical care. Veterans
undergo regular examinations, which led to over 20,000 new diagnoses in 2025.

From 2025, an additional 480 educational psychologists have been recruited to provide
psychological support to families with children. In acute crisis situations,
specialists from the psychological service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency
Situations are also brought in.

The Foundation
places particular emphasis on supporting seriously wounded veterans. Over the past three years, more than 6,500 veterans with disabilities have been provided
with technical rehabilitation equipment, including prosthetics and sports-adapted wheelchairs, various types of exercise equipment, 550 manually
operated vehicles, and over 1,600 highly functional sports prostheses.

More than 3,200
flats and residential buildings have been adapted to provide comfort to veterans with disabilities of the special military operation. Since 2025, the Foundation
has been providing special military operation veterans with adaptive clothing
kits. A total of 2,700 such kits have been distributed.

The training,
retraining and employment of special military operation veterans are becoming
increasingly important. More than 22,000 veterans have applied for employment
assistance, and over half are now in work. Over 15,000 requests for training
and retraining have been received, with 68 percent of applicants being referred
to training programmes.

Thanks to support from the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, more than 17,000
veterans of the special military operation – including more than 4,500 with
disabilities – are now regularly involved in various sports. More than 750
veterans have joined regional adaptive sports teams, and 70 have joined
national adaptive sports teams.

With support
from the Ministry of Digital Development, the Fatherland Defender State
Information System has been launched. It enables automation of individual
support plans, allows real‑time tracking of support measures, and facilitates
feedback.

The Foundation’s
mandate is constantly expanding. Since March last year, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation has been supporting family members of missing special
military operation personnel. Work has been organised to ensure that biological
samples are submitted, identification cards completed, and psychological and legal assistance provided.

The President
has supported an initiative to organise the Foundation’s project-based
activities. To that end, the Foundation plans to establish a project committee
within its central office. The committee will focus on systematising the preparation, implementation and support of Foundation projects, as well as participating in the development and delivery of state support programmes for veterans of the special military operation and other groups.

The President
also supported the Foundation’s initiative to extend its support to include
active-duty service personnel with disabilities, as well as those who took part
in repelling aggression in the border regions and became disabled as a result.
The Foundation will provide these defenders with technical rehabilitation
equipment and adapted living quarters. Service personnel will also be involved
in adaptive physical education and sport.

Last year, the Foundation’s
offices began operating in large municipalities in the Moscow Region, in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics. Their activities are organised

afternoon.

Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova: Mr President,
congratulations on Children’s Day.

Vladimir Putin: And to you.

Maria Lvova-Belova: It has been an important, challenging and interesting
year.

I want to share some good news with you. This year, decision-makers have
realised that children whose parents are alive should not live in children’s
homes, nor should they become social orphans. The figures confirm this. Mr
President, our statistics for 2025 are remarkable. We have been working for five years, as per your instruction, and it appears that the cumulative effect led
to excellent results in 2025.

In 2025, some 22,000 social orphans were reported, which is almost 17
percent lower than in 2024. The number of children whose parents have restricted
parental rights is16,400, which is 25.5 percent lower than the previous year.

Mr President, we have also collected our own statistics to understand
the actual number of children living in children’s homes and shelters. In just
under two years, thanks to family support measures, we have managed to reduce this
number by 18.3 percent, from 60,000 to 49,000. The current number stands at 49,000.

At the same time, we have worked with governors and regional officials
to consistently repurpose these children’s homes and shelters into family
support centres, with the aim of keeping families can stay together.

It is very important to note that we have reduced the number of institutional places by 19 percent and reallocated resources to help families.
This measure prevents children’s homes from unnecessarily admitting children to fill spare beds.

Mr President, I will give you one example. In Severodvinsk, the director
of a local children’s shelter was inspired by these reforms. He analysed the number of required beds and cut down the number of children to just one group,
while redistributing the resources to a centre for adolescents, a crisis centre
for mothers with children, and a mobile family support crew. This approach
enabled twice as many families and children to receive help without any
additional resources.

On your instructions, Mr President, coordination at the federal level is being carried
out by the interdepartmental working group on assistance to families with
children. The group brings together all the key agencies involved in this area, and together we are developing the core policy documents.

As one example, a roadmap has recently been sent to the regions. It has
been signed by the three relevant ministers – the Minister of Education, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection and the Minister of Health – as well
as by me in my capacity as Presidential Commissioner. The document sets out a clear, coordinated plan outlining the targets, objectives and measures that each
region is expected to implement. As a result, regional authorities now have a practical
framework to guide their work.

To ensure continuous support for the regions throughout this process, we
have been operating in a situation centre format, monitoring the implementation
of reforms and key performance indicators around the clock. We have also
reviewed complex cases where regions were uncertain how to respond, and took
part in court proceedings where necessary.

All of this has helped us achieve the results we are seeing today. If,
for example, we notice an increase in the number of people being deprived of parental rights in a particular region, a rise in the number of children
abandoned at maternity hospitals, or a growing number of foster families returning
children to residential care, we step in at the federal level.

We have prepared a new ranking for you, Mr President, assessing the performance
of Russia's regions in addressing social orphanhood. As expected, regions of the North Caucasus are once again well represented among the top ten, but other
regions are also performing strongly, including Sevastopol, the Khanty-Mansi
Autonomous Area, the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Kalmykia.

In addition to the top ten, however, I would like to single out a number
of breakthrough regions that have significantly improved their performance and moved up the rankings over the past year. These include the Nizhny Novgorod Region…

Vladimir Putin: This is a ranking that reflects a reduction in the number of children in these institutions, correct?

Maria Lvova-Belova: Yes, it reflects a reduction in the number of children in residential care institutions and in social orphanhood overall. It also assesses
how assistance is provided to families and how many children remain in institutional care. It
is important for us to avoid large residential institutions, where it is often difficult to provide
comprehensive support not only to the child, but also to the family.

Vladimir Putin: So which regions would you describe as the breakthrough
performers?

Maria Lvova-Belova: They are the Nizhny Novgorod
Region, the Tambov Region, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, the Irkutsk,
Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions, the Republic of Buryatia, and the Tver and Tula regions. Our colleagues there have done an enormous amount of work, and we
are very grateful to them for it.

Let me briefly explain how these changes are being achieved
in the regions. First, a single official is appointed to take overall responsibility for the issue – for example, a deputy governor responsible for social policy who oversees all aspects of the work.
Regions are also introducing comprehensive support programmes for parents struggling with addiction, as we know this is one of the leading causes of social orphanhood. In addition, efforts are being made to help parents have their parental rights restored where
appropriate.

An inter-agency board has been established to determine
whether it is justified to place children in an institution. There are
regional, municipal boards and even boards at the institutional level. Their
responsibility is to determine what can be done to help a family so that a child does not end up in a children’s home and can return to the family. It is
important that the board looks beyond standard measures and takes an individual
approach.

Here is an example, Mr President: I visited a region to sit on an inter-agency board, which I do regularly to observe how it
works. The case in question involved a mother and a father who are alcoholics.
They love their children and visit them in a shelter all the time but they
refuse treatment. The board started to investigate why. It turned out that
treatment required six months in a rehabilitation centre and they were afraid
of losing their relationship with the children. Also, they had a big household
that nobody else could take care of.

To deal with the first problem, we sent them to another region, the Tyumen Region, where there is a substance abuse
rehabilitation centre with shared living. Children and parents can stay
together. The municipal officials provided volunteers who could help this
family with their household during their treatment. Eight months later, the family returned home and they are doing well now.

Mr President, it has been a remarkable year: a historically high number of parents have been reinstated in their parental
rights, with 2,844 children back home.

Mr President, during our last meeting, you
pointed out that after a child has returned home, the family must receive
further support and must not be left alone. We have dedicated this year to analysing, along with regional commissioners, all reintegration cases and the assistance
these families receive at the regional level. We have even drafted respective
regulations.

We took proactive measures. We did not want to wait for families to come to us. In every region, regional commissioners and child protection services invited parents deprived of parental rights or analysed cases of families deprived of parental rights. Mr President,
surprisingly, the situation in many families has significantly changed for the better. Life is complicated. Everything changes constantly. Mothers admitted
that they felt the stigma. I spoke to one mother who said, “You see, I have
been living with a feeling that I am a bad mother and that nobody will ever
believe me. I was cut off like a pariah.” We can overturn this stereotype.

Mr President, I know that you always say that
children are more precious than money but I want to point out the economic
aspect. By reinstating this number of parents in their rights, the budgets at different levels have freed up 20 billion rubles. This money will be
redistributed to help families. As a result, this ongoing reform that turns the state towards families – even families that are seriously challenged, this
reform is redistributing and rebuilding everything inside.

Vladimir Putin: Earlier today, we presented state
awards to parents of large families. Did you notice that one of the recipients
recalled something his mother once told him: “May there be more of us”? That is a wonderful sentiment. But the state’s task is to build a support system that enables families with many children – and indeed families
of all sizes – to be happy and secure. The federal and regional support
measures we provide must be targeted and effective.

I see that you have included figures here
showing the amount of funding being allocated and the results being achieved. How would you assess
the effectiveness of these support measures?

Maria Lvova-Belova: Mr President, there is no doubt that state support
measures are highly effective. However, what I see in my work is that people’s problems often cannot be solved by state measures alone, whether at the regional or federal level.

Let me give you an example from real life. A man lost his wife during childbirth and was left alone with
a newborn baby and an older child. He placed the baby in a children’s home because, as he explained,
he had no one to help him. “Either I stay at home with the child, or I earn a living to support my family,” he said. His plan was for the baby to remain in care for about eighteen months and then
bring the child home.

We arranged additional funding for a nanny – 30,000 rubles per month. As a result, the child was able to stay
with the father. The child has now reached an age at which he can attend nursery.
But this type of assistance is not covered by existing regional support programmes.

That is precisely why, Mr President, the Children’s Protection Fund is
being established under your executive order, and why you have asked me to lead
it. The Children’s Protection Fund is intended to serve as a kind of family reserve
fund. Regional branches are now being opened, and they will have resources available
to provide targeted assistance beyond existing federal and regional support measures: helping families rent accommodation, pay for medical treatment, carry out minor repairs, fix a stove, and address other
urgent needs that are vital to a family’s wellbeing and stability. Once these immediate
challenges are resolved, families are often able to manage independently. This is
one aspect of the problem.

At the same time, the expertise
we
have developed in supporting and assisting families will form the basis of a nationwide Family Support Service, which will operate under the Fund and help regional authorities improve their work in this
area.

Finally, Mr President, with the agreement
of ten governors, we will begin directly overseeing a number of children’s institutions. Together, we will transform them into model facilities that focus not on residential care, but on supporting families and helping children remain in a family environment. We intend to use these institutions as examples of best practice and gradually extend
this approach across the country.

<…>

Meeting of the State Council Commission for Supporting Combat Veterans – Participants in the Special Military Operation and their Family Members

The fifth meeting of the State Council Commission for Supporting Combat Veterans – Participants in the Special Military Operation and their Family Members was held.

The fifth meeting of the State Council Commission for Supporting Combat Veterans – Participants in the Special Military Operation and their Family Members was held.

The meeting was attended by Presidential Aide and State Council Secretary Alexei Dyumin; Chairman of the State Council Commission for Supporting Combat Veterans – Participants in the Special Military Operation and their Family Members and Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin; Chair of the Defenders of the Fatherland state

Secretary and Deputy Minister of Defence Anna Tsivileva; as well as representatives of federal authorities, heads of Russian regions, and participants in the special military operation who are graduates of the Time of Heroes programme.

In his opening remarks, Alexei
Dyumin emphasised that, in order to ensure a uniform approach to the provision
of support measures for participants in the special military operation and their family members across all Russian regions, Vladimir Putin had signed an Executive Order establishing a mandatory list of 15 basic regional support measures
in the fields of education, social and legal protection, and other areas. The document
provides for a unified approach to determining the categories of special military
operation participants and their family members eligible for such support and establishes
the timeframe for its provision. At the same time, regional authorities retain
the right to introduce additional support measures.

One of the key issues under
discussion was the improvement of the medical rehabilitation system for servicemen injured or wounded during the special military operation.

Alexei Dyumin noted that leading
hospitals and research centres have accumulated unique expertise that should be
rapidly disseminated nationwide to ensure that veterans of the special military
operation receive the most effective treatment and rehabilitation in a timely
manner. Achieving this objective requires, among other things, the establishment of effective interagency cooperation.

The Presidential Aide also stressed
that, alongside medical rehabilitation – which in some cases may continue for many years – social rehabilitation, including employment, is equally important.
In particular, the commission discussed the implementation of programmes aimed
at promoting entrepreneurship among veterans of the special military operation,
as well as improvements to the social contract mechanism.

Igor Babushkin identified the development of an information resource with simple and user-friendly navigation
as one of the priority tasks. The resource will be hosted on a state digital
platform, enabling veterans of the special military operation and their family
members to independently access comprehensive information on federal and,
potentially, regional support measures, as well as detailed guidance on where and how to obtain the relevant benefits.

Anna Tsivileva noted the consistently high demand
among veterans of the special military operation for professional development
opportunities in entrepreneurship. According to Tsivileva, many are interested
in more flexible forms of employment and greater independence. For a significant number of veterans, entrepreneurship serves not only as a source of income but also as a means of social reintegration and a return to active life.

Edelgeriyev said that with a one percent annual growth of global water
consumption, attaining the 6th UN Sustainable Development Goal calls
for a pivot to applied scientific and technological partnership. The Russian
Presidential Aide specifically noted that Russia was ready to confirm its
status of a reliable partner by providing its neighbours with access to unique
competences in digital water body management, space monitoring, and the introduction
of artificial intelligence in irrigation systems.

In addition, Ruslan Edelgeriyev proposed an initiative to enact the potential of the Russian Federation as a respected
platform, based on deep scientific research and fair appraisal, to settle the most urgent issues of water shortage in Central Asia. He stressed that the Russian side proceeds from the neutral character of natural resources and the primacy of national sovereignty.

The outcomes of the conference reaffirmed the Central Asian states’ interest in partnership with the Russian Federation based
on mutual respect for sovereign rights and regional cooperation.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Aide to the Russian President had a number of bilateral meetings with foreign partners,
including heads of delegations from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The parties discussed the possible use of cutting-edge Russian
irrigation complexes and mobile pipelines that make it possible to increase
harvests several-fold while considerably reducing water consumption. The key
results of the consultations were agreements on deepening technological
cooperation and making Russian developments more accessible for Central Asian
partners.

Workshop conference on the practices and tasks of regional executive authorities in implementing the State National Policy Strategy

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central

President of the United States Donald Trump. The call lasted for more than an hour and a half. The exchange between the two presidents was
conducted in a friendly manner and was frank and businesslike.

Understandably, Vladimir Putin began by expressing his sympathy and support for the President of the United States in connection with the assassination attempt against him on April 25 at the Washington Hilton hotel. Fortunately,
neither Donald Trump himself, nor his spouse, nor any members of his entourage
were harmed. The secret service was quick to neutralise the assailant. The Russian leader strongly condemned this crime and stressed, in particular, that
politically motivated violence was unacceptable in any forms and manifestations.

It was also mentioned during the conversation that this dangerous
incident occurred on the eve of the US First Lady’s birthday on April 26.
President Vladimir Putin asked to convey his best wishes and noted her
contribution to efforts aimed at facilitating the reunification of Russian and Ukrainian children with their families.

When discussing the international agenda, the presidents focused on the developments surrounding Iran and the Persian Gulf.

Vladimir Putin believes that Donald Trump was right to extend the ceasefire for Iran. This, he believes, will give negotiations a further chance
and help stabilise the overall situation.

At the same time, the President of Russia pointed out that if the United States and Israel resume military action, this would inevitably lead to extremely adverse consequences not only for Iran and its neighbours, but for the entire international community. He stressed that a ground operation on Iranian territory would be particularly unacceptable and dangerous.

Russia remains firmly committed to facilitating diplomatic efforts aimed
at achieving a peaceful resolution of this crisis, and has put forward several
proposals to help address differences over the Iranian nuclear programme. To this end, active contacts with Iranian representatives, leaders of the Gulf
countries, as well as with Israel, and, naturally, the negotiating team of the United States will continue.

Donald
Trump outlined his assessment of the outcome of the concluded phase of the armed confrontation, as well as his views on the current difficult situation
facing Iran and its leadership.

Regarding
a settlement in Ukraine, the US President emphasised the importance of an early
cessation of hostilities and his readiness to do everything in his power to facilitate this. His authorised representatives will continue contacts with
both Moscow and Kiev. Donald Trump said he believes that an agreement that
would bring the conflict in Ukraine to an end is close.

Replying to a question from Trump, Vladimir Putin described the current
situation along the line of contact, where Russian forces retain the strategic initiative
and are pushing back the opposing side. It was also noted that since the beginning of 2025, Russia has handed over more than 20,000 bodies of fallen Ukrainian
servicemen, while Ukraine has returned just over 500 bodies of Russian servicemen.

Both Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump expressed broadly similar views on the behaviour of the Kiev regime led by Zelensky, which, incited and supported
by Europeans, is pursuing a course aimed at prolonging the conflict.

The Russian leader stated plainly that Kiev is resorting to overtly terrorist
methods, targeting exclusively civilian facilities on Russian territory.

The President of Russia reaffirmed that the goals of the special military operation
will be achieved in any event. At the same time, he noted that this outcome
would preferably be reached through negotiations, for which Zelensky must
respond constructively to the proposals that have been put forward repeatedly,
including by the US side.

It is notable that Donald Trump expressed a positive view on the Easter ceasefire
recently declared by Russia. In this connection, Vladimir Putin informed his
American counterpart of Russia’s readiness to declare a ceasefire for the period
of the Victory Day celebrations. President Trump actively supported this
initiative, noting that the holiday marks the shared victory over Nazism in World
War II.

When discussing Russian-US relations, both leaders pointed to the great potential for mutually
beneficial cooperation in the economic and energy spheres. The presidents stated
that their representatives are already engaged in substantive discussions on a number of large-scale economic projects.

The presidents agreed to maintain contacts going forward, both directly and at the level of their aides and representatives.

They
concluded the conversation on a warm note, wishing each other all the best.

Question: On whose initiative was the telephone conversation held?

Yury
Ushakov: I would like to note that it was initiated by the Russian side, by the President of Russia.

Thank you.

Seminar meeting on implementing the State National Policy Strategy

Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov and Presidential

actively with young people, opinion leaders, and ethnic cultural associations. These efforts are
facilitated by a set of events announced by the President for 2026 as Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia. This major initiative of the Presidential Council for Interethnic

including the preservation of cultural heritage, small cities, historic and documentary heritage, the intangible heritage of the peoples of Russia (folklore,

held with representatives of the government authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The two sides exchanged information on the state policy directions
concerning combatting corruption, on regulatory environment innovations in this

Chief of the Presidential Civil Service, Personnel and Anti-Corruption
Directorate Maxim Travnikov and Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akmal Burkhanov signed a memorandum of understanding
between the Directorate and the Agency.

Particular
attention was drawn to the significance of cooperation within international
anti-corruption frameworks, in light of Uzbekistan’s plans to host the 12th
