Following the talks, the two presidents witnessed the signing of a number of documents, in particular, a joint statement on partnership for modernisation, an agreement on social welfare between Russia and the Czech Republic, an agreement on cooperation in the fight against crime. As part of the Russian President's visit, a package of documents on cooperation between Russian and Czech companies was also signed.
After the meeting Dmitry Medvedev and Vaclav Klaus gave a joint news conference.
In the Prague Castle, Dmitry Medvedev and Vaclav Klaus also opened the Tsar’s Court under the Romanovs exposition featuring treasures from the Moscow Kremlin museums.
The two presidents together with their wives toured the exposition accompanied by Yelena Gagarina, general director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums.
Within the framework of his official visit, Dmitry Medvedev also met with Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas.
