The President toured the centre’s facilities, including the intensive care ward and operating theatre, where he was told about the centre’s possibilities for carrying out heart surgery.
The Far Eastern Federal University’s medical centre is an independent organisation within the university. Its main purposes are to provide highly qualified diagnostic, consultative, therapeutic and rehabilitation assistance to in- and out-patients, function as a local medical centre, and organise and carry out preventative health measures.
