An archaeological museum.
The two leaders visited an archaeological museum built at the burial site of Macedonian kings, including Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. Mr Putin and Mr Stephanopoulos examined Philip II’s grave and the museum’s exhibits.
In Vergina, the two leaders continued discussing Russian-Greek relations, in particular, economic cooperation and the international situation.
The Russian President also met with the political and business elites of Thessaloniki and North Greece.
