Addressing the veterans at the Academy of State Service, President Putin said supporting veterans was one of top priorities of state social policy. All kinds of activities concerning veterans should be effective and meet their objectives, which is a common goal facing the state and the public, the President stressed.
The head of state said pensions and allowances to war and labour veterans were regularly increasing, and this work would continue.
