Vladimir Putin said that the development of Russia’s relations with Vietnam was one of the main priorities of Russian foreign policy. This potential could serve as the perfect foundation for further fruitful work.
During the talks, the sides discussed key issues of Russian-Vietnamese relations and relevant global political problems in the context of the two countries’ relations in the international arena.
In 2003, Russia is planning to host a forum of graduates from Soviet and Russian institutes and universities. Vladimir Putin expressed hope that Nong Duc Manh, a graduate from the St Petersburg Technical Academy, would participate in the forum.
