The talk took place on board the missile cruiser Marshal Ustinov. The two leaders discussed the whole range of bilateral relations, in particular trade and economic cooperation and energy issues.
The Presidents also discussed the prospects of Russian-Polish interaction in connection with Poland’s accession to the European Union.
Mr Putin thanked Mr Kwasniewski for supporting Russia on the Kaliningrad issue.
The international issues discussed included the Middle East and Iraq.
