Mr Putin said that the main tasks in Russian-Polish relations in the short term concern road infrastructure and border crossings.
He also said that the Foreign Ministers would be instructed to revisit the issue of a simplified visa regime between Kaliningrad and Poland.
The President described the exercises of the Northern and Baltic Fleets as satisfactory, but he said a final assessment could only be given after all the parameters have been studied.
The President also answered questions about the results of his state visit to Britain, the prospects for the North European Gas Pipeline, the problems of Kaliningrad and the plans of the Presidential Envoy to the Northwestern Federal District, Valentina Matviyenko, to run for Governor of St Petersburg.
