The Protocol to the Treaty on the foundation of the Central Asian Cooperation Organisation of 28 February 2002 was signed by the President of Russia and the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The signing of the document means the completion of Russia’s registration as a full member of the CAC.
The Protocol stipulates the further consolidation and development of multilateral cooperation and interaction in all areas between Russia and Central Asian countries on the basis of relations of friendship and good-neighbourliness.
