“The agreement has provided us with a basis for our shared determination to unite our efforts in the name of the future, and to develop our political, economic and cultural relations on multiple levels.
Over the past few years we have made noticeable progress and strengthened our cooperation in all spheres. Today our countries are steadily working on establishing the Common Economic Space, coordinating their activities in the international arena, and taking common measures to ensure that the citizens of their two states benefit from equal rights and possibilities.”
Vladimir Putin also sent a message to the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko.
