Ceremony awarding state decorations to participants in the Chernobyl nuclear power plant cleanup operation. Praskovya Britskaya, member of the Moscow Union of Chernobyl Invalids, receives the Medal for Saving Lives.
Ceremony awarding state decorations to participants in the Chernobyl nuclear power plant cleanup operation. Colonel Sergei Zykov receives the Order of Courage.

Through a special decree the President also awarded decorations to other participants in the cleanup operation.
