During the meeting Russian President pointed out that relations between the two countries are developing at a good rate. In 2005 the volume of trade grew by about 40 percent. Along with this Vladimir Putin expressed his hope that Russian companies will receive the possibility to work in Great Britain, just as British companies have the opportunity to work in Russia.
In turn, Tony Blair considers that Russian-British relations are very stable. The British Prime Minister highly values the level of cooperation between the two countries on a number of international issues.
