Mr Vainshtok informed the President that Transneft would be ready to begin building an oil terminal on the Pacific coast at the beginning of 2007 as part of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean oil pipeline construction project.
Mr Vainshtok also reported on work on the Burgas-Alexandropoulis pipeline project, noting that Russia has already drawn up a draft intergovernmental agreement on the pipeline’s construction and sent it to Bulgaria and Greece for approval.
