The President expressed his concern regarding the high mortality rate among the adult population in the region. Despite the fact that mortality in the Moscow Region has decreased by 2,3 times, it is still 1,8 percent higher than the birth rate. While he noted a slight improvement in the general situation, Vladimir Putin emphasised that the measures that have been taken remain insufficient.
The President mentioned the situation with respect to processing documents to receive parcels of land in the Moscow Region and noted that the processing period is long and can take between 250 and 500 days. The head of state instructed the Governor to prepare additional proposals that would reduce the time required to process documents linked to receiving a parcel of land in the Moscow Region.
At the meeting they also discussed the general social and economic situation in the region.
