Mr Putin said that he had signed a decree on the merger of two companies, Sovkomflot and Novoship, into a single entity, and asked about the practical steps that will be taken to implement the decree. The President noted that the newly formed company should provide world-class services and shipbuilding facilities that also meet modern environmental standards.
