Mr Erdogan thanked Mr Putin for deciding to take part in the summit meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation, of which Turkey currently holds the presidency.
Mr Putin and Mr Erdogan noted the rapid development in bilateral relations between Russia and Turkey. According to both countries’ estimates, bilateral trade has now reached a figure of $21 billion and investment cooperation is on the rise.
