The heads of state discussed issues relating to their bilateral cooperation, and infrastructure projects in particular. Mr Putin assured the President of Turkmenistan that the railway line that will border on the Caspian Sea (the agreement to construct this railway line was signed today by Turkmenistan, Iran and Kazakhstan) will join with the Russian railway network at the Russian border.
The President of Turkmenistan talked about the construction of a Russian school in Ashkhabad, whose foundation stone the two presidents had laid in May.
