The message reads, in part:
“Your representative forum has gathered together those who have devoted their lives to the most noble, responsible, and humanitarian of professions – caring for the health of the younger generation – here in Moscow. You will be discussing important issues of improving children's medical care, implementing innovative technologies and the latest vaccination and health programmes into your medical practice. You will also focus on training doctors to use the most modern approaches in paediatrics.
I expect that this congress will make a significant contribution to resolving these important challenges, while the recommendations you prepare will help implement international public health projects.”
The European Congress of Paediatricians is taking place on July 3–6, 2009 in Moscow.
Nearly three thousand scientists, practicing doctors, and children’s public health professionals are participating in the congress, coming from Russia and Europe, as well as the United States, China, India, and Latin America.
The International Medical Exhibition, showcasing the most modern children’s medical equipment, medications, food and hygiene products, will be open alongside the congress.
