Vladimir Putin expressed his profound and sincere condolences to the family, friends and all admirers of the talent of great ballerina Maya Plisetskaya following her passing.
In his message, the President said, in particular:
“Maya Plisetskaya has left us. She was a person of immense and inexhaustible talent and a true legend in world culture. She was a star of Russian ballet in every time and season and always served art with selfless devotion and shared generously the fruits of her inspired creation with people.”
