Meeting with permanent members of the Security Council

Syria settlement issues were discussed in view of the completed Syrian army’s operation on liberating Aleppo from the militants, as well as preparations for a possible meeting on Syrian settlement in Astana.

The meeting participants touched upon various issues related to the preparations for a CSTO Background information Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) session and a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council scheduled to be held on Monday in St Petersburg.
