Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss reported to the President on the relief measures taken in response to the accident that occurred in the territory and assistance for the families of those who died or are missing.
Vladimir Putin instructed the Governor to take all necessary measures, paying special attention to the people’s needs.
A gold mine dam on the Seiba River near the village of Schetinkino in the Krasnoyarsk Territory collapsed on October 19. Water swept away two temporary cabins where up to 80 people could have been staying at the time. According to the latest reports, 15 people died and five are missing after the dam collapse.
