The message reads, in part:
“We are celebrating the Day of Vocational Education for the first time on the state level today. I would like to extend my heart-felt congratulations on this holiday to vocational training teachers and tutors, college students and graduates who are employed in various sectors of the economy and social sphere, where they solve serious and responsible tasks.
We are rightfully proud of the history of the national professional and technical education and its traditions which have been formed over decades. Factory workers have made a major contribution to the industrial development of our country, to Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the restoration of the destroyed national economy.
It is gratifying to highlight that vocational education is becoming more prestigious. This is definitely a result of our joint efforts aimed at increasing the prestige of vocational professions, modernisation of colleges and technical secondary schools, and the elaboration of modern standards for training skilled personnel. We are aspiring to open new horizons for the development and implementation of ambitious, breakthrough projects and initiatives, establishment of new enterprises and sectors for our young people.
Teachers, tutors, students and graduates,
The ability of our vocational education system to successfully respond to challenges of our time, to ensure the training of specialists on a due level largely depends on you, your efforts, experience and professionalism.”
