The message reads, in part:
“It is gratifying that the patriotic and educational programme School Victory Museum, created at the initiative of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, received broad support from educational institutions in many regions of Russia and united a large number of participants around its noble tasks – those who are proud of the history of our country, who sincerely believe that every Russian school should have a museum that carefully preserves the memory of the past war and its heroes, and tells people about their fellow countrymen, their military and labour achievements, and the life of their native land.
I am certain that your festival, which has brought together in Moscow teachers, school museum activists and experts, will be held at a high creative level and will allow participants to share experience and best practices and outline prospects for developing school museums.”
