During the telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his 70th birthday.
The two leaders reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthening Russian-Kazakhstani allied relations and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas.
Earlier, the President of Russia sent a message of greetings to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The message reads, in part:
“You enjoy the well-deserved respect of your compatriots and international authority as an experienced and far-sighted politician who is doing a great deal for his country’s socioeconomic development and for the protection of its interests on the international stage.
I am counting on our continued constructive dialogue and close joint work aiming to further strengthen relations of strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Kazakhstan and to promote mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian region.”
