The message reads, in part:
“Founded in 2008 at the initiative of major companies in the industry, the Association consistently expands the scope and range of products, prioritising the development of sales networks in the regions, increasing the availability of fertilisers on the domestic market and making a hefty contribution to the country’s food security.
In particular, I want to praise the Association’s serious export potential. Russian fertilisers are in demand in more than 100 countries, including in Africa. Russian producers are known as reliable partners of African farmers, providing them with all the essential types of mineral fertiliser and promoting the UN large-scale initiatives focused on environmental protection and soil health on the continent. They are involved in highly relevant research and development projects as well as in agricultural education and training.
I am confident that this success is the result of well-coordinated and highly professional work by the members of the Association, and also stems from the widespread introduction of the most advanced technologies and from competent management decisions.”
