The message reads, in part:
“Since its establishment, the nuclear sector has made an immense contribution to the development of our country, strengthening the national economy and defence capabilities, and ensuring energy security. These achievements are backed by the painstaking work of many generations of scientists, engineers and experts in various fields who have brought the sector to the leading positions and helped to fulfil its strong scientific and technological potential. We are rightfully proud of their names and achievements.
It is gratifying that the Rosatom state corporation personnel, workers of enterprises in this sector and research centres are enriching the wonderful traditions of their predecessors. They are proactively dealing with the task to implement breakthrough technologies in the energy and space sectors, nuclear medicine, ecology, and the modernisation of the nuclear icebreaker fleet. They are taking part in creating advanced weapons that can maintain the strategic balance in the world and helping to promote promising projects related to information infrastructure, quantum computing, and production of innovative materials. It is important to continue deepening international cooperation and expanding mutually beneficial contacts with honest and reliable partners abroad.
I hope that you will continue your responsible and creative work at a high professional level and achieve new important results to the benefit of Russia and our citizens.”
