“The road sector plays a special role in the life of our vast country, contributing to the development of its economy and infrastructure and ensuring a reliable, uninterrupted transport communication between different regions. Of course, society’s well-being and comfort in many ways depend on the results of your constructive work.
I would like to stress that the road sector employs the most highly-qualified specialists, many of whom are members of workers’ dynasties, who know and love their work. Today the industry demonstrates its efficiency and reaches excellent indicators despite the difficult situation. Thanks to intelligent management decisions and extensive integration of state-of-the-art technologies, hundreds of kilometres of roads and motorways are built and renovated, priority attention is paid to the road network in the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation, bypass roads are built around large cities, international logistics corridors are developed, and public-private partnership mechanisms are improved.
I am confident that by building on the wonderful traditions of their predecessors, road sector professionals will continue to work with great dedication and achieve the set goals.”
