The message reads, in part:
“This forum brings together prominent researchers, senior university officers and museum workers from Russia and several other countries to discuss a wide range of issues dealing with the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the people and nations inhabiting Eurasia, as well as their unique traditions and customs.
I am pleased to note that many ideas and proposals from your preceding meetings have already materialised. There was a series of successful archaeological expeditions, an initiative to organise schools for your researchers specialising in Altai studies. Written by a team of respected authors, the first volume of Turkic Civilisation Chronicle has been published.
I am certain that this year’s forum will take place in an atmosphere of creativity and mutual understanding and will jump start promising joint research, educational, and awareness-building projects and programmes, while also helping expand international humanitarian cooperation.”
