The message reads, in part:
“It is important that the veteran movement is expanding as it continues to bring together people of courage, people who care, in a word, true patriots from all regions of Russia.
Our common task is to support the families of our fallen comrades-in-arms, to consistently strengthen the social protection system for the participants in the special military operation, and to improve medical care and rehabilitation programmes. Of course, the key priority is to create the conditions that would allow our heroes, returning from the front, to fulfil their potential in various spheres, including in the economy, business, government at all levels, and local self-government. I would like to highlight the importance of the veterans’ involvement in educating youth and promoting relevant volunteer, educational, awareness and humanitarian projects and initiatives.
I am certain that the forum will be productive and will contribute to resolving important problems faced by the veterans’ brotherhood and our country at large.”
