For many years, your festival has served as a true highlight of cultural life of the Kaliningrad Region, giving its residents and numerous guests a chance to familiarise themselves with real art. I would like to emphasise that the organisers of the forum are implementing highly-demanded charitable initiatives aimed at preserving architectural monuments of the unique Amber Land.
This year, which has been declared the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in Russia, music pieces dedicated to heroic pages of the country's history, deeds of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, their courage and bravery will hold an important place in the forum’s programme.
I believe that the festival will be held in a spiritually driven, friendly atmosphere, and its events, many of which are dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the great Russian composer, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, will leave the kindest and most positive memories.“
